Class announcements are the first thing you see when you enter the WebTycho classroom. Faculty can edit class announcements at any time.
The Faculty Center is your main control panel. It links to classroom management tools. Students can't see the Faculty Center
Students and faculty view course materials in the Syllabus and Course Content areas.
Interactive discussions are an important part of online learning. You and your students can discuss course topics asynchronously in the Conferences area. Or you can interact live in the Chat Room.
WebTycho includes two assignment and grading areas. The faculty Portfolio is a record of your own classroom activity. Both students and faculty have a portfolio. The Gradebook is where you create, manage and grade assignments. Students can't see the gradebook.
Class Members lists all students, T.A.'s, and instructors in the course. It includes email addresses and bios. The faculty version also includes links to your students' portfolios.
